Spotted this 'owl' on the way to Robinhoods Bay, quite fortunate it didn't fly away!

A game devised by this clever dog - Owner throws the ball. Dogl catches/retrieves it, take it to the edge, where it will roll down the sea defences back to the owner. #Repeat
PhotobombedAfternoon walk with Aussie into town to photograph the cormorants and turnstones. As we approached Willison's shop front it was just was full of colour, so I took a photograph, and decided I needed to be closer. So I walked around the corner, took a photograph, decided I was still a little too close, so backed into the pub wall. And when I raised the camera to my eye, I'd been pleasantly photobombed. CormorantsStarling murmuration
where thousands of starlings flock together, swirling in the sky at dusk (&/or dawn), are one of the ultimate winter spectacles. Storm Doris put a dampener on my planned outing this afternoon.
So decided on a little 'stitching' - an 8 shot panoramic After yesterdays excitement of the Eastern Black Redstart it was a walk on Sandsend beach at high water 13.13 hrs. I was hoping for some mini rainbows in the sea spray, but none. The lady was hell bent on going for a swim, according to her partner, until the draw back pulled her over. Think it was cold by the expression on her face in the last picture.
Nice to chat, fellow Togs Michael & Trevor this morning. First photograph of the day ☺ Eastern black redstartStorm Doris is inbound, could this be the last sighting of the
Eastern Black Redstart at Skinningrove? Not a particularly nice day, but these Oyster Catchers seem to spend more time on the playing fields than on the beach!
