Hinderwell scarecrows
We had a run over to Hinderwell & Port Mulgrave
​to view the scarecrows before they are taken down tomorrow.

Still crippled with sciatica, so a re visit to my first visit to the
Farne Islands on the 21st July 2017
​Flight school on a windy day

Camping holiday came to a painful end, sciatica crippled me so driving home from Northumberland was painful. I could hardly walk let alone do any photography, so an edit from yesterday's Farne trip.

2nd visit to the Farne Islands & better weather, although less birds.
£36 for the boat for an 'all day' two island photographers day
wait for it an additional £26 to the National Trust, IF you're not a member
and without that all important NT sticker on your boat ticket
​you can't step foot on the islands

I would estimate 2/3rds of the seeds in a bird feeder are thrown out, as birds seek the seeds they like. The seeds on the floor make easy pickings for others.

Afternoon dog walk, impromptu photo shoot whilst dog sitting,
took shelter in a barn as the rain fell.
