Surprisingly it wasn't raining, although the forecast said rain, which did come later in the morning.  Thunder & lightning so a good job I had a couple of pictures from this mornings walk with Aussie.  Further encounters with a less than timid squirrel.  Who came within a couple of feet to retrieve a groundnut, tasted it & scurried off up a tree.

Morning commute for Charlie & Billy

Hazel & groundnuts tempted these squirrels from the tree tops,
​but not close enough to take them.

Miserable wet morning walk with Aussie in the drizzle.
1st squirrel was quite content sat up her tree.
2nd was sat on a stump watching the world go by.
Though couldn't resist a free dog biscuit I'd thrown a few metres in front of me.

A very long night for the Milky Way, light pollution is a BIG problem
​as it masks the bottom of the milky way.
​Dew forming on the lens was also a big problem.

Missed the sunset, but managed the after glow. First time at HDR, quite pleased.

Anyone else found one of these?
