The Annual "Bell Trophy" competition was held this season on the 21st January 2007 meeting 8.30 am at North Bay Scarborough and the weigh in at the Angling Social Club 2 pm - 3pm.

Conditions were a little better than the usual  flat calm seas that we get, with a few cod being weighed in.

Whitby Club came in 2nd place with only a few ounces behind a strong team from Scarborough Rock Anglers who took the Inter - Club Trophy.

Five members of the nine Whitby team weighed in
1st - Colin Stainthorpe caught 3 codlings - 8 lb 07 oz
2nd - Paul Kilpatrick - 7 lb 03 oz 2 fish
3rd - Phil Mead - 1 lb 12 oz 1 fish
4th - William Atkinson - 09 oz 1 fish
5th - Glen Kilpatrick - 08 oz 1 fish.
