Minutes of 2000 meeting were read by the secretary Bernard Vasey and were proposed as a trues record by William Atkinson, seconded by Paul Kilpatrick.

The treasurers report was read by Dave Johnson.
The club accounts showed we started the season with a balance of £999.58 and finished with a balance of £905.80.

1) Foot and Mouth:
A discussion on the right of way on coastal footpaths to get to fishing marks due to closures of some footpaths from the Foot & Mouth disease - Anyone requesting more information could ring Adrian Nelson who would give them a phone number for further Government update.
A decision was taken in the meantime to abide by the exclusion to trespass signs.

2) Club Camera:
Dave Perrett proposed the club bought a Polaroid camera so more photographs could go into the Whitby Gazette - easier for developing etc.

Adrian inquired that due to him working shifts. Would it be OK for someone to weigh in his fish. This would happen one wednesday in three.
This was passed as OK.
4) Club Match Payout
It was proposed by Neil Inglis that the pay-out for club matches be changed from 50 - 50 to 1st, 2nd, 3rd heaviest bags.
