The meeting was held at the Pier Hotel on Wednesday 13th September 2000 at 8pm with 16 members attending.
Minutes of the 1999 AGM were read by the club secretary Mr Bernard Vasey and were proposed as a true record by Neil Inglis, seconded by George Middlemas.
Finances.
The Treasurers report was read by Dave Johnson.
Club accounts showed we started the season with a balance of £1,009.44 and finished with a balance of £999.58.
Income.
Subscriptions were down and match entries were also down, plus no domino sales.
Expenditures.
Were down from £816 to £599, with no annual dinner guests to pay, plus the Xmas meals were donated by the Pier Inn Landlady Janice.

Denis Thompson proposed that the Open Match be advertised during Filey Open Festival, it could be incorporated with the Filey report.
The club secretary, Bernard Vasey, seconded the motion saying "Flyers could also be handed out at the weigh in station".
2) Dave Perrett inquired, "That if no one weighs any fish in from the club nights fishing match -
does the entry money go to the club funds
or
will it be carried over to the following match?"
Vote went to go in to club funds.
3) William Atkinson informed club members there would not be a Sea Angler Open Cod Match this year as it would be a bass event.
4) It was mentioned that Rob Allison and Denis Thompson were not paid for the last two matches.
This would be rectified at the Annual Dinner.
