The meeting was held at the Fleece, Church Street, Whitby on the 7th September 2003 at 8pm with 15 members in attendance.
The minutes of the 2002 meeting were read by the secretary Bernard Vasey and were proposed as a true record by Glen Kilpatrick, seconded by William Atkinson.

The treasurer, Dave Johnson read his report with the club accounts still looking good starting the season at £1,130.95, an increase of £119.79.

Glen also asked for an increase in more day club matches, but most members felt with all the local day matches of other clubs these would be too many and not easy to implement.
Some anglers wondered how much longer will the East Pier be out of commission. Opinion is that the bridge is to be done when the rock armour project starts?
