Meeting held at the Pier Inn Hotel 18th September 1996 with an attendance of twenty seven persons and the meeting started at 8pm.
The minutes of the 1995 AGM were read by the secretary Bernard Vasey and were proposed as true by Dave Perrett, seconded by Denis Thompson.
Finances.
The Treasurers report was read by Dave Perrett, as Dave Johnson was unable to attend.
The club started the season with a balance of £435 and ended with a balance of £719.
As the balance sheet showed all items of income showed an increase during 95/96.
The main items:- Subscriptions increased to £156, due to rise in subs from £3.00 to £5.00.
The Open competition showed a profit due to good entry and sponsorship support.
The Ship Open made a profit of £61 due to the raffle.
The domino cards were introduced again and brought in £72.50.
The expenditure work out slightly less than the previous year at £806, the larger items of this were:-

Xmas meals up £50 to £100.
On the whole the club had an excellent financial year and is in a healthy position.

Both proposals were voted in.
Also the old Christmas Cup donated by Crossley's would be replaced by the new cup donated by Whitby Rifle Club.
The Open Competition Prize money.
The raising of the prize money for the placings in the open competition were reached by:-
