It was noted the meeting was poorly attended.
Peter Horbury started by reading a text message just received from Davey Turnbull - He would sponsor a £50 Bass Boots voucher for a Special Place prize - at the Committees disgression 21st place. He would also sponsor £25 for Last Place.
Meeting agreed to increase ticket price to £20, in line with other local Opens.
£5 of which is for the Superpool.
It was agreed to increase the superpool to the top three heaviest fish - split 50%, 30% & 20%
It was discussed where to place the donation from Dan Midd Custom Rods.
It was agreed to £57 for 27th place prize.
It was agreed to use £25 for the Leading lady, £10 Non-weigh-in Lucky Ticket.
Junior section sponsors confirmed as - [£100 - split £50, £30, £20]
Peter Horbury, Danny Middlemas, Bernard Vasey, Colin Stainthorpe & Denis Thompson.
Denis Thompson was donating a Daiwa fishing rod for the prize table but should it not be won, then he did not want it to go in the raffle. And suggested it could be used in the members Christmas match.
Weigh-master duties - Dave Hambley volunteered - agreed he would get assistance from Rich Deadman, and William Atkinson would check tickets, and close the end of the queue at 5pm.
Other duties were named:
Paul Short would collect & record members donations for the raffle table.
Dave Ward would be in charge of folding up the 'sold raffle tickets'. It was thought Keeley Fairbanks would assist as last year.
Raffle ticket sales - Colin Stainthorpe and Denis Thompson volunteered.
Raffle tickets presentation would be done by Peter Horbury.
Dave Hambley would deliver & secure ticket sales from Keith's Sports.
Denis Thompson voluntered to deliver tickets to Coso's.
Dave Perrett would deliver tickets to Hook, Line & Sinker when he bought some vouchers for the prize table.
