The meeting commenced with the treasurers report read by Dave Johnson.
Whitby Open made a profit of £123.00.
Ship Inn Open made a short loss of £22.
New digital scales at £104.30.

Any Other Business.
1) Paddy Hoy requested that the weigh in time be extended from 10pm - 10.15pm to 10pm - 10.30pm.
Giving an extra 15mins to get back from some of the remote fishing marks.
This was seconded by Paul Kilpatrick, and on a vote was passed to increase the time to 10.30pm.
2) Paul Kilpatrick proposed that there be a Trophy awarded for the most cod weighed in.
But after a discussion on weighing cod only and keeping records etc. The vote went against the proposal.
3) Paddy Hoy proposed that anglers did no leave unwanted fish such as whiting, left outside Whitby Angling shop.
Members were reminded to take their fish away.
4) Paddy Hoy proposed the singles knockout competition, that the final be fished over one match and not two, this was seconded by Phil Mead.
A vote was taken and the proposal was passed at 10 - 1.
5) Brian Harland proposed that members must turn up at the Bandstand on the 1st Match if they are fishing and not just go fishing from home etc. seconded by Dave Perrett - passed.
6) Bell Trophy:- A date for the Bell Trophy was selected by us, the Whitby Sea Anglers, as we won the Bell.
The 21st January was chosen (2007)
7) Someone ? requested a set of rules etc to what fishing tackle can be used???
8) Also where are the boundaries?
Dave Perrett said - South Gare, Redcar to ???
9) It was proposed that the Doubles Final be fished over two matches.
The vote went to remain at the one match (12 against the change).
10) The last request was that next years meeting will be held with a better order. Possibly at another venue where beer is not served.
Hopefully if everyone is orderly the meetings would not take so L - O - N - G.
