Sandsend Cave near Whitby
A little known gem, Sandsend cave, I was last here over 15 years ago and once inside I found it to be ten times bigger. It was just a round cave but over the years it has grown in length by about 15+ metres. There is a tidal 'cut off' point, just past Shot Stones, and it is best when low water is lower than 1.6 metres. Today was ideal 11.36 hrs 1.2 metres. Obviously take care, be prepared, a torch is a must and wellington boots.
Short video (below), shot on a hand held GoPro Hero 3 with WiFi. Need some tuition on GoPro Studio suite, as this is the first time I have edited a shoot.
