Goathland & Glaisdale HuntTook a stroll around the village before the hunt arrived juggling a brolly & a camera. River very swollen, stepping stones cannot be seen and the fire brigade, 'blues & twos' through the village. The huntsmen & woman arrived through the rain.

Fellow dog walkers & joggers The find - a cockoo ray - rescued and put in deeper water Merry Christmas
Some, of many photographs of the Aurora Borealis Whitby, North Yorkshire. More pictures added (in a slide show), and a short time lapse of 260 photographs before it clouded over. Aurora Borealis (Northern lights) spotted whilst we were fishing the Christmas match between 5 & 7 pm. Sadly no suitable camera & tripod in my fishing bag :-( After the meal & presentation checked the Aurora FBk page and there was to be another show, so gathered all my kit together & headed out. Up to St Mary's church for a test shot, it was there, all be it faintly. Whilst walking from the church yard and down the 199 steps some mindless and totally irresponsible cretin was playing with a green laser, and insisted on shining it in my eyes whilst walking down the steps. The green light was coming from a property/yard near Cliff St. on the west side of town just before midnight. I sincerely hope the police catch the person/persons responsible. ↑ - Slideshow of 19 images ↓ - 10 sec time lapse All images to create an Aurora Borealis star trail.
