12 oz tadpole fish, 12" long, was caught by Rob Allison. British record is 1 lb 12 oz 12 drm therefore this is 42.9% of British record. Not the biggest Tadpole fish caught by a WSAA member. Whitby B team are 7th in league. Page 113. "It's Tight at the Top" - Whitby gets a mention as one of the larger clubs taking full advantage of the 'Double Points' for 20 or more anglers fishing. 20 match entries are the maximum, but Whitby Sea Anglers Association can only enter 15 results, max 3/month as it closes at end of February and we missed September due to season starting in October. Sandsend beach at 8 am, 1-2 ft of north easterly swell & strong south easterly wind (forecast 36 mph gale force). 983mm Hg & 5 deg C.
