The Blade
Hull city of culture, well not quite, more 'city of noise'. Many projects still not completed, hence contractors, bollards & plant (diggers, dump trucks, etc) around every corner. On the plus side parking is cheap £2.00 for 3 hrs in a multi story. Morning dog walk on Sandsend beach & wished I had brought the 400mm lens, had to make do with 70-200mm
Scarborough, Peasholm Park Fattest squirrel I have ever seen, joined by a couple of hopeful pigeons.
www.cold.com, but sunny, so headed off in the car in search of some wildlife, geese and ducls a plenty but, just as I packed up to come home I spotted these reflections.
Big sea running 10-12ft Northerly. Bitterly cold onshore NNWesterly wind.
Popped down to Sandsend on the off chance some good swells would be coming in. I was running late 08.30 hrs, seeing how HWater was 07.47 hrs. 5.0m HWater 07.47hrs (would have been better if 6.0+m). Decided on B&W Been meaning to photograph FR 86 DAYSTAR at Parkol Engineering for some time as Aussie & I walk past here most mornings. Intentionally the moored boats are blurred, as they are moving with the wind & tide.
