Weather turned sunny late afternoon, but northerly that wind was bitter, so we played 'tourist', and a walk down the pier.
The lady, half in shot, was the partner of the gentleman with the phone.

Magpie strutting about looking for grubs under the recently cut grass.
Magpies are very nervous, their colours are fabulous, need to be much closer.
Not shy, this thrush kept getting closer in Pannett park.
This week. last year, it snowed!
Wintry showers are forecast for this week.
Blowing a northerly gale, rain progressed to sleet & hail.
Fine weather, so a long Sunday walk for the three of us. Starting at Beck Hole, Darnholm, Goathland & back to Beck Hole.

Despite the poor weather Roseberry Topping was very busy, so we three kept well away from the crowds and did a very large circular walk around the 'quieter' footpaths.
