Time to come home, pulled in for some diesel & looked at the name of the garage. And we past it everyday without realising, being 10mins from our holiday let. Llanfairpwllgwyngyll or Llanfair Pwllgwyngyll is a village on the island of Anglesey in Wales, Britain.
It is in the Guinness Book of Records for being the place with the longest name in Britain The village is also known as Llanfair PG or Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch. The morning fog, after all the rain yesterday. Come 10am and it started to brighten up. Come 18.00hrs we found ourselves back at the South Stack, sunset only an hour off. Parked up & looked over the horizon, eleven Togs on the cliff edge.
Set off with camera gear, arrived on the cliff edge as all eleven Togs were packing up! They were on a photography workshop & were not staying for the sunset! Chris & I had the sunset all to ourselves. The Menai Strait is a narrow stretch of shallow tidal water about 25 km long, which separates the island of Anglesey from the mainland of Wales.
South Stack - wind speed was measured at 40mph by the custodians, so it was shut for the day. Public had access down the steps to the locked bridge gate.
