Sunday morning low water dog walk

Evening Friday 8th January 2016 - low water 21.10 hrs 1.4 metres
Brian Harland (ex WSAA member) & no stranger to big fish, acting as their gilly had taken his cousins Steven & Stewart Swales, and Perry Franklin (ex WSAA member) fishing.
Neither Steven, Stewart nor Perry had ever fished this particular mark Brian had chosen for the evenings fishing, and Brian told them where to cast.
Around 21.00 hrs Perry hooked this fish and Brian plucked it from between the rocks in the surf, and instantly knew it was a 20 lb'er.
All continued to fish until after midnight, returning to Brian's garage to check its weight on Brian's scales - 19 lb 12 oz
Next morning Perry had it weighed officially at Whitby Angling Supplies where
Dan Bennett confirmed - 20 lb 00 oz
