Return visit to the lesser spotted woodpeckers with better glass
taken @fl 800mm on a cropped sensor, so 800 X 1.6 = fl 1,280mm.
Managed to photograph both the male (red head markings) & female.
All in all got some 400 shots in a little over an hour.

Aussie & I spotted this mouse scurrying up the recently chipped road,
had great difficulty focusing on the little one, as it was in a hurry
until he saw us & did a U-turn.
